Hi, I’m Amanda, an artist born and raised in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere North Carolina. Art has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Ever since I was little, I dreamed of being a artist. In 6th grade I learned about Vincent Van Gogh, that dream only grew even stronger. His story and passion for art lit a spark in me that never went out.

I work with acrylics, watercolor, and oils, though acrylics have always been my favorite. I love painting animals, wildlife, plants, and anything else that captures my imagination. My art is a reflection of the things that make my heart feel alive.

In 1998, I lost my biggest supporter (my mom) she believed in me and my dream before I even fully believe in myself. Her encouragement still lives in everything I create. From that moment on I promised myself I’d do whatever it took to make my dream of being an artist a reality.

I’ve carried a lifelong passion and determination to grow, create, and share my love for art with others. Every brushstroke is a tribute to that dream, to my mom, and to the beauty I see in the world around me.
