This vibrant blue crab painting burst with coastal charm. Painted with rich browns and bold blues, it captures the spirit of the sea with beautiful texture and detail. I painted this because it reminded me of crabbin’ with the family in Nags Head, making it a piece filled with warmth and nostalgia. Perfect for ocean lovers, beach homes, or anyone who wants a touch of sea side magic.

Painted using Gesso and Acrylics combined to create a textured background that adds depth and character to the crab. The gesso built up subtle ridges and patterns, while the acrylic paint adds rich color and dimension. The dramatic texture of the background makes the crab in this piece seem three dimensional.
This painting was inspired by the iconic opening to Rocky Horror Picture Show. Those unforgettable red lips singing in the dark. the bold crimson lips pop against the black background, capturing that same mix of mystery, allure and rock & roll attitude. It’s playful nod to a cult classic that still commands attention!

The blue misty background helps show off the magic in this painting. From the curve of tree, to the folds in her cloak caused by the wind. I added the falling leaves to add a little more movement to this piece. This painting is a great addition to anyone who has a love for the fairytales, whimsy, and who love to let their imagination run wild.
